Buffalo Bills Radio Broadcasts: In-House Production & Distribution for 2026 Season (2026)

The Buffalo Bills are taking control of their media distribution, marking a significant shift in their broadcasting strategy. Starting in 2026, the team will produce and distribute radio broadcasts for all preseason, regular season, and playoff games in-house. This move comes as a response to the evolving media landscape, with the team aiming to enhance fan engagement and access to their content.

One Bills Live, the team's flagship show, will transition to an in-house distribution model, moving away from its current partnership with WGR-AM 550 and Rochester affiliate 950-AM The Fan. From 1-3 p.m. every weekday, listeners can tune in to streaming broadcasts exclusively on BuffaloBills.com and the official Bills App. The show will also continue to be simulcast on MSG Western New York, ensuring a wide reach for Bills fans.

Pete Guelli, Bills President of Business Operations, highlights the importance of this transition: "The delivery of media content has evolved significantly. By producing, distributing, and selling content in-house, we aim to provide better access to our fans and strengthen our connection with the local business community."

In-house distribution will enable the Bills to expand their network of station affiliates across New York State, Southern Ontario, and beyond. They will collaborate with Good Karma Brands, a media and marketing company with expertise in leveraging the power of national and local sports, to develop their content distribution plan.

This transition also marks the end of the 14-year broadcast partnership between the Bills and WGR. Chris Brown and Steve Tasker, co-hosts of One Bills Live, will remain in their roles, ensuring continuity for fans. Additionally, daily podcast versions of each One Bills Live episode will be available on the Bills App, BuffaloBills.com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major podcast platforms.

The Bills' decision to take control of their media distribution is a bold move, reflecting their commitment to staying relevant and connected with their fans in a rapidly changing media environment. This strategy will likely spark discussions and debates among Bills fans and the broader sports community, as the team navigates the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
